Public, lightweight checks.

NewSiteCheck is designed to perform lightweight launch checks against information already available to an ordinary public website visitor.

What we access

We may request a submitted homepage, a small sample of same-site links, robots.txt, common sitemap locations and ordinary HTTP response headers.

What we do not do

We do not attempt to log in, bypass access controls, brute-force credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, run invasive penetration tests, or intentionally access private networks.

Rate and scope

Scans are intentionally limited in depth and number of requests. Private, local and reserved network destinations are blocked, and redirect targets are re-checked.

Opt-out / concerns

Before public launch, an operational contact address will be published here for site owners who want to report an issue or request exclusion.
